Dr. Rajeev Seth

Dr. Rajeev Seth is one of India’s leading pediatricians, with over four decades (40+years) of distinguished experience in child healthcare, neonatology, pulmonology and developmental Pediatrics. As the Medical Director of the Child Health & Development Centre (CHDC), New Delhi, he has devoted his career to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and family-centred care to newborns, children, adolescents, and their families.

An alumnus of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Dr. Seth completed both his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics with academic distinction. He was awarded the prestigious Sorel Catherine Freeman Prize in recognition of his outstanding performance in Pediatrics. Dr. Seth is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (FIAP), reflecting his longstanding commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong learning.

To further advance his clinical expertise, Dr. Seth pursued postgraduate training in the United States, undertaking residency and fellowship programs at internationally renowned institutions, including the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and affiliated centres. His advanced training in Pediatrics and training in Department of Neonatal and Pulmonary medicine, enabled him to bring a global perspective to pediatric care in India. Dr Seth passed his Diplomate of American Board of Pediatrics (DABP), and currently remains in good standing at the American Board of Pediatrics, and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).

Over the course of his illustrious career, Dr. Seth has held senior leadership and consultant positions at several leading hospitals and healthcare institutions. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant Paediatrician at Rainbow’s Children’s and Max Smart Superspecialist Hospital Delhi, while leading CHDC’s multidisciplinary team, which provides comprehensive services in child health, development, early intervention and child protection. His dedication continues to positively impact the lives of thousands of children and families across India.
